We collect only what we need to deliver your order, and we never sell your data.
Who is responsible
Trailgel runs trailgel.com and is responsible for your personal data. For any privacy question or request, write to [email protected].
What we collect
When you order, we collect:
- your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number;
- your delivery address and any notes you add;
- what you ordered.
We also receive the emails you send us.
Why we use it
We use this data to confirm, deliver and take payment for your order and to answer your questions. The legal basis is the contract with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We keep records of sales as accounting law requires (Article 6(1)(c)). We do not send newsletters or marketing emails.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of service providers, who process data only on our behalf:
- Cloudflare hosts this website. It also runs Turnstile, the check on the order form that blocks spam bots. To do this, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details.
- Zoho provides our email. Your order is sent to us by email and stored in Zoho's EU data centre.
- If a courier delivers your order, we give them your name, address and phone number.
How long we keep it
We keep order data for as long as we need it to handle your order and any questions about it. After that we keep it only as long as accounting and tax law requires, then delete it.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your basket is saved in your own browser (local storage) so it is still there when you come back. It is not sent to us until you place an order. The Turnstile check may use technical data only to tell people from bots.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it. You can also object to how we use it or ask us to limit it. Email [email protected]. You can also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija).
